This American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Instructor Course prepares you to confidently teach CPR through hands on training, real teaching practice, and instructor coaching. This is a blended course that includes an online portion (completed before class) and a one day in person instructor training, with skills evaluation and teaching demonstration.

Course Requirements
Before attending the in person class, you must:

Be at least 18 years old
-
Hold a current AHA BLS Provider certification (or obtain prior to class)
-
Complete the online BLS Instructor Essentials Course prior to in person training ($42.65+tax paid separately to AHA)

Attend and complete the full in-person instructor training session

Successfully complete a monitored teaching session after the course
-
Demonstrate proficiency in CPR skills *Note: If you do not currently have an AHA BLS provider card, we offer certification classes prior to your instructor course
